In 1941, when Teddy Bacon, a Lieutenant, was demonstrating a seaman how to throw a line to shore from his ship, HMS Repulse, his gold automatic wristwatch dropped into the harbor in Gibraltar all of a sudden. Teddy thought he had lost his watch for good. To everyone’s surprise, in 2007, this timepiece was refloated by dredge workers. When Teddy saw his watch which got missed for over sixty years, he was totally shocked. In 2010, the company manufactured a new type of quartz watch, Precisionist which is said to control the time error for only 10 seconds within a year.
