Girard-Perregaux, the high-end Swiss watchmaking house has astonished its customers with a new luxury timepiece — the Cat’s Eye Tourbillon Haute Joaillerie Watch, the one that is characterized by refined jewelcrafting and incredible mechanical watchmaking achievement – tourbillion.

Delivered by an oval-shaped case, this new Girard-Perregaux watch measures 32.9*38.42 millimeters and is bedecked with sheer 155 baguette-cut diamonds weighing 12.97 carats in total; whereas, the dial face is set with another 106 baguette-cut diamonds of 4.2 carats that cover all the available real estate save for the white gold view at the tourbillion serving as a small seconds sub-dial. And the impeccable craftsmanship combines 287 diamonds with regard to their cut, color and clarity.
Moreover, the dial is embellished with the gems weighing totals to 20 carats, which required over 700 hours of patient work. Set with a winding crown, this timepiece features 12 more diamonds of the same cut with the 12th diamond working as an ultra-expensive cabochon and exceptional rose-cut diamond. The diamond-scattered dial well reveals a fine match with the geometry of the case.

Apart from the stunning amount of large diamonds all over the case, this Girard-Perregaux watch is arranged with polished hour and minute hands to whisper the accurate time. This model shows its eye popping part with a tourbillion mechanism which is positioned at 6 o’clock. Consisting of 72 parts, this model features a good bridge and illuminates by the play of dazzling diamonds.
In spite of its appealing appearance, this Girard-Perregaux watch is animated by their new GP09700-0006 automatic movement, which ensures a relative slow pace of 21,600 vph and a 3-day power reserve. What attached to the gray satin strap is a white gold buckle, effusing a sense of elegance and security. Undoubtedly, such a distinguishingly refined feminine watch is so typical for the Cat’s Eye collection.
